i had £100 compensation 'cos it made me bad!

Just previous to the Clover withdrawal I had posted a complaint to them regarding a lump of fibrous material that I had found in one of their 500grm tubs.
I received a £5 token and a free tub of clover voucher with the explanation that the fibrous matter was a fruit stalk ie apple etc. and then they had the cheek to say it probably dropped in after it was opened - B/S - I had already told them I had only just opened the new tub and spread it on me toast, anyways I left it at that and 3 weeks later the big recall started - makes you think don't it....

why? what did clover do that was soo bad?

Um, what for? I have a tub of Clover in my fridge - should I not be eating it????!

Your question does not make any sense, do you mean clover butter?

I watch the news! I don't think any ill effects were caused really, apart from a people feeling nauseous, so i dont think they would stand to get much compensation anyway

Hello -
If you go to the website mentioned you will see what is going on. I did and and don't think anyone is in imminent danger.
