Can anyone tell me what this Indian desert/food is?!

Question: Can anyone tell me what this Indian desert/food is?
Once I was at an Indian restaurant and they had these things that were in little rings that were a redish orange color. They were crispy and sweet. I have no idea what this food is. Can anyone tell me what this was? They looked similar to the shape of onion rings but I they were not onions. Red, crispy, and sweet rings.

it could be Jalebi. usually it is yellow because they make it with saffron, but saffron is expensive so it is not unheard of people putting in red or yellow food colouring. deep frying it with ghee for that crispy finish.

hint: you can soak the jalebi with some milk for like 5 minutes to make it really awesome.

i am a chef. i love indian food.

is that what you're taking about? is so, then it's jalebi. :)

Jalebi. Pronounced Juh-lay-bee. One of the most unhealthy desserts, but very good. You can often get it at Indian and south asian stores in little clear plastic containers. But it is much tastier when fresh.

Jalebi. You have been converted.

its called jalebi,, so good yet fattening.
