Anyway, good luck, and good eating!

One way I really like to do sirloins is to grill them up (stovetop is fine in a skillet), and top them with onions I have thinly sliced and carmalized that were cooked with Worcheshire sauce. Yum!

Pan fry in some oilve oil or butter in a heavy skillet (cast iron works great) to desired doneness. Put steaks on plate, tent with some foil to keep warm.

Deglaze the pan with some beef stock (a cup or so) bring to boil.

Mix some a teaspoon or so dill weed, a cup sour cream, and a table spoon or two flour in a bowl. Mix into hot stock in pan, stir continually for a minute or so to create a thick sour cream dill gravy. Salt and pepper to taste.

Arrange steaks over noodles or rice, pour gravy over and serve.

Great main dish in 20 minutes or less. You can add mushrooms or onions to pan also if you like.

Machele,

Just search for "swiss steak" online. There are hundreds of recipes so find the one you can quickly make without a crock pot and ingredients you have on hand.
