Greeks, Armenians and Turks co-lived for almost 400 years... Who knows who started it? There are books implying that it's one of the dishes that may have existed from way BC, but these are not proven facts (i am not a easy-believer when it comes to history!)... The fact is that they all cook it and it's absolutely delicious :) In Greece we call them dolma or giapraki

Greeks brought this recipe in India, men came along with Alexander The Great introduced this form of cooking to Indian sub continent. The Dolma we cook is more of Indianized over the time, but the basic remains the same.
