In Japan " Curry" means a type of spice blend but in India " Curry" doesnt mean anything and no indian even uses this term for there are too many types of spice blends in India and even spice blends with the same name vary from region to region. Japan got their " Curry" from Indian migrates who lived in India so go with the experts. India.

Indian. I didn't know the Japanese made anything which could be called 'curry', but as it isn't an Indian word, I guess any hot food with a bite can be called that, wherever it comes from.
My favorite curry recipes come from the book called "50 Great Curries from India" by Camellie Panjabi. Just open the book anywhere!

Indian is "The Curry". My favourite? there are a lot.....Curry is a very generic term....like Wine......thousands of variety....

I love Japanese curry with chicken and vegetables but I also like Thai and Indian curry. I eat those when I am in the mood for spicy but when looking for comfort food I go with the Japanese curry as my mom was Japanese

Yes, I like Indian (Asian) Curry. I have never had Japanese Curry. My favorite curry recipe? I like curry with lamb and or chicken.

Ohhh you're making me choose? Well I have to say I think I like Japanese curry more. A nice yellow curry with potatoes, rice and tender beef is excellent.
