Question:

Looking for a great tasting wine that is sweet.?

I having been looking around for a sweet wine. I had read somewhere that pinks are good. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am not looking for something expensive, just for to chill in the evenings and catch a light buzz.

Answers:
Go to your local wine store. Let them know what you like and don't like in a wine and what price point. Some of the best wine's I've been recommended are around $7 - and were recommended by the wine store.

Enjoy!

Try an ice wine or a muscat canelli.

I LOVE Reesling. It's the best! it's about ten bucks for a bottle. Well 7-10. Its sweet too. Look for Reesling or Reisling and read the back, it tells you what it taste like. I think you would enjoy it.

Sangria is really good as well as White Zinfendel.

Dr. Zen Zen's Kabinett is a german white wine that sells for about $15. It's quite sweet, and has a good flavour. It's a blue bottle.

I like Moscato d'asti.

Either a Muscato or a Gewurtztraminer for something sweet & light. Any dessert wine should do it.

Muscato's are dessert wines- good, easy to get a buzz from and sweeeeet! But, they're a bit expensive.

Reisling is usually a sweet, white wine- some are a little bubbly. They're exploded on the scene, so there are a lot of selections. RELAX Reisling is our wine d'jour at the moment. You can get it for around $8-$10 a bottle.

I like Asti Spumante. You can buy it cheap in some brands as low as $5. A pretty good one can be had for $11. I won't mention name brands but try some. They are nice.

smirnoff is the best wine in ny

Riesling may be a bit dry in taste. Try a pinot grigio or white zinfandel.........

Wines like White Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio and Riesling are sweet without being cloying. There are also dessert wines that are sweeter. And Ice Wine, while terribly expensive, is a wonderful sweet wine.

Try a German Riesling. It is a desert wine and available in any liquor store, wine shop and most grocery stores. It is sweet, crisp and refreshing. Also try Real Sangria brand Sangria. Try cutting up some fruit and adding it to the Sangria. Serve ice cold for a refreshing treat.

I think you'd like a Late Harvest Riesling. The later the harvest, the sweeter the grapes. It's a white wine, good with chicken or fish, served best cold, and very summery. Most companies that make Rieslings (that's the type of white wine) make a late harvest blend.

You may also like the Conundrum brand. These wines are made from a mixture of different kinds of grapes, hence conundrum... But the ones I've had were really sweet. Be prepared though because they don't come that inexpensive. Still they are great to share with a couple of friends.

honestly the best sweet wine is either a Moscato- its a dessert wine or the Blush wine from Olive Garden. its YUMMY!

I am not a big fan of wine, but my mother in law is, and shes always trying to get me to drink a glass with her, i don't like it, recently, she purchased a Blackberry flavor Merlot, wild vine or something like that, about 3-5 dollars, and i loved it, its sweet, and mild taste really good with steak or pasta. you can find it at HEB, it cheap too.

Hazlitt Red Cat is excellent! Goes great with burgers too!

bianchi wine. nice smooth sweet taste to it.

All these answers assume that you are a wine afficionado.

From your question however i can tell you are looking for a white zinfandel or a fruit flavored wine cooler. Try Seagrams.
