Is sushi safe to eat after being in the fridge for less than 24 hours?!

Question: Is sushi safe to eat after being in the fridge for less than 24 hours?
I bought two Philadelphia sushi rolls yesterday around 6:30 pm (it contains salmon and cream cheese), I ate some of it and put the other pieces in the fridge. Is it safe to eat hours later?

Answers:

Don't worry, when I buy sushi. They put all kinds of ingredients in them. I ate those before too.

Yes, it's ok. Do remember that if you leave it out more than 2 days. It cause bacteria. If it smells really bad, then do not eat it. Not really sure. Maybe try it and see. That's what I do.

As long as it's refrigerated I believe it should be safe to eat within a few hours. Now if we were talking DAYS then I'd tell you to immediately dispose of it.

Also, if it smells fishy, toss it. That smell is the fish going bad, so if you ever think a sushi bar smells fishy, leave.
