What would be healthier: indian food, or chinese?!

Question: What would be healthier: indian food, or chinese?
I'm getting take out tonight and I'm trying to decide what would be a healthier option?

Answers:

Indian food would be a little healthier, if its "Americanized" food, if you get my meaning.
It it's all authentic, then the way healthier choice is Indian.
Personally, I'd prefer Chinese food, but its loaded with MSG and alot of stuff is fried with bad oils, but it sure tastes better to me.

It depends.

Neither cuisine is particularly healthy or unhealthy. It really comes down to the take away shop.

Chinese uses MSG but if you are not sensitive then it won't hurt you. (If you are sensitive then you wouldn't even consider Chinese.) Whilst Chinese has a lot of starch it does prepare the vegetables in a way to retain all the goodness.

Indian food can use a lot of oil. Badly prepared it can be very greasy. The vegetables are often boiled to death. Take away indian is often simply meat in a sauce plus rice.

In terms of take away food, I suggest that Chinese is healthier. In terms of the actual cuisine? They are about the same.

Depends upon what you order...

Batter fried meat in a sweet gloopy sauce is not healthy.
Stir fried veggies and meat is a better choice.

My opinion is order healthy no matter which cuisine you pick... so pick what you're craving.

Edit.. Funny quote of the day, "Chinese food is nothing but starch which spiked insulin and makes you gain weight."

Hmmm... I guess that answer doesn't know what Indian food is... lol!

both are equally healthy if cooked in a proper restaurant. Both are equally unhealthy if cooked in cheap fast food restaurant.
Its like making a home made hamburger with good meat compared to cheap nasty stuff in a chain. Take out is normally cheap..so take your pick what you fancy

Main thing is what dishes u like , not what other tells u. Don't believe people tells u they use bad oil, msg, soy sauce, u can tell the server to hold down those stuffs in a real Chinese restaurants. Not in garbage house like BS Chain or Puto express

I'm asian and I prefer indian food all the way. Chinese food is a lot healthier in some ways. Not much of a difference. I love indian food. Yummy! :)) I love this question.

They're both healthy but it depends on your body type and what works better.

With me Indian food works better but for others Chinese does. Both are tasty though and healthier than american foods.

Depends on what you order doesn't it? Just avoid anything fried and look for steamed. Avoid cream or coconut sauces and stick to vegetables not meat.

They are both the same and it depends on what you have. Indian has a lot of fried foods and chinese has a lot starch.
