Rinse has nothing to do with sticky. If u want rice to be sticky, put extra water in it, or soak it for couple hours, or use rose rice is for sticky rice.

If you want sticky rice Jasmine rice is the wrong rice to use. It's a long grain rice.

You need to use a short grain or medium grain rice instead. But if that's all you have then do not rinse it. Rinsing it washes away the starch.

I rinse my Jasmine rice everyday and it can be either sticky or not sticky, depending on how much water I put in. The more water I put in, the sticker and mushier it is.

Jasmine does not have a lot of starch, so it won't be sticky even if not rinsed. Try sushi rice. Very starchy and, thus, sticky.

Yes, if you make rice correctly, it shouldn't be sticky Don't rinse it.
