What are some good mixers for ouzo?!

Question:

What are some good mixers for ouzo?

I am not a big fan of ouzo but there must be someway to make it taste drinkable.

Answers:
Ice, ice, Baby! I love it on the rocks---plus you get the added joy of watching the clear ouzo turn a groovy milky white. (I don't know why it does, but it does...) My big fat Greek uncle (so not kidding) adds just water to his....I once knew a woman who mixed hers with orange juice and called it a "Tiger Tail" but honestly, that is the most repellent combo I can think of---black licorice and orange? See, now you have been talked out of mixing it at all......Yasou!

Coffee.

If you don't like it why drink it?
To make it a bit more palatable try mixing with lemonade to sweeten it up a bit.
Best way to drink ouzo is as a shot, it's over in seconds & taste lasts only a short time but effects a bit longer.

Ketchup, I suspect. Barbacue sauce maybe?

Ouzo is vile. So is Retsina.

Fault American culture all you want--but you have to admit we make good booze.

Irish whiskey and ice, hold the ouzo.
