If you eat milk and eggs, along with fish, you would be a pesco-lacto-ovo veggie. Milk is lacto, eggs are ovo, and fish is pesco.

If you eat all of those, AND the occasional turkey breast, then you are a semi-veggie.

Here is some more info:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/vegetarian...

I would call you "a vegetarian for all practical purposes"

A lot of vegtarians are in your boat, where they do not eat any land animals. BUT if you eat any meat at all, I do not REALLY consider you a vegetarian.

It's called a Pescatarian, but in the eyes of hard core vegans/veggies you're still a meat eater that doesn't eat beef, chicken, etc...

? a faker??

A hypocrite

It's called an omnivore. If you eat a dead animal you aren't a vegetarian. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but it's a fact. It seems like people just like to say that they are vegetarian, but pigs and cows aren't the only animals that count when you go veggie.

A murderer.

I don't want to sound like an a-hole but you are either a vegetarian or not,and fish is meat.

It is not neccessary to have a name for it. I don't eat mammal or bird meat, but sometimes fish, and I don't call myself names because of it.

a fishyterian....haha

um c there is strict vegetarian.......which i am...i rarely eat eggs

u wud be a limited vegetarian................

but I think that if u eat meat lyk fish...then thats not fully considered vegetarian...

boy that's a tough one -- pescetarian (PES.kuh.tayr.ee.un; PESH.uh-) n. A person who supplements a vegetarian diet with fish. ―adj. Also: pescevegetarian, piscetarian.
http://www.wordspy.com/words/pescetarian...

You eat meat right? Nope, that's not a vegetarian, just means you eat very little meat. It's called an omnivore, meaning you eat meat as well as veggies, etc.

they're not vegetarian if they eat fish.

Pescatarian is what a person is called that eat fish but no land meat.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/pescatarian...

well you are not a vegetarian you are a Pescetarianism ― A diet in which the only animals consumed are fish or other seafood.

I call it a step in the right direction. At least you're partway to being a vegetarian. You're on the right path. I think you're a pescatarian. Go to meetyourmeat.com and you might go veg all the way. The fish will be happy to hear that!

All humans are omnivores, if you don't eat meat you area a self depriving omnivore. If you do not eat meat because you do not like the taste, someone isn't cooking it right. I have some excellent recipes for beef, venison and poultry of all types.

There are no vegetarian's that eat fish. I believe the correct term is pescavore.

It is called a pescetarian-one who only eats fish and not other animals.

boy--I was shocked to read the sarcastic answers you received!
I actually read your question verbatim, and I do not believe the snotty replies were justified.
She was simply asking two questions-what is one called who only eats fish and not beef, poultry or pork or any other type of flesh, and if she would be considered a vegetarian!!
A basic 'no you are not vegetarian, you'd fall under the category of a pescetarian ' would've been suffice!
Settle down with the quick-to-be snotty answers!
Not everybody asking questions here deserves to be attacked!

A person who eats fish is NOT a vegetarian! Vegetarians abstain from ALL flesh foods, including fish and poultry. In fact, the word "vegetarian" was coined by the founders of the Vegetarian Society in England during the 1840s to describe a person who eats no beef, seafood, or poultry. If you eat ANY flesh, you're not a vegetarian!

u r a wanna-be vegitarian

There is no such thing as a vegetarian who eats fish. Vegetarians don't eat animal flesh. You are an omnivore. I dont like to use these fancy made up words like piscivore or pescetarian because it's just another term for a kind of omnivore.

Your question clearly asked what you are called if you are a vegetarian that eats fish and then went on to talk about your eating habits which means you were referring to yourself with the question....so yes...you are referring to yourself as a fish eating vegetarian and we are correcting you.

Cara.. i don't know if you are a vegetarian or not, but these people too often times assume the worst in everyone in here.. here's the thing on vegetarians... they say they are some kinda animal right activists that don't eat fleshy meats, but its ok to kill plants and other parts of the "earth" as means to fulfill their appetites.. look at your teeth, if we were meant to eat plants only, we wouldn't have cutter teeth to pierce through meat... i know there are alot of plants out there that are tough to bite into, so that's why we have the cutter teeth, right? we didn't climb to the top of the food chain, to belittle all other mammals did we.. if the lions could talk right now, you think they would give you words of encouragement
