can americans stand spicy food?!

Question: Can americans stand spicy food?
with ingredients like the small birds eye chillies.
spicy can make eyes and nose watery bleed.
do you like spicy food?

Answers:

I like plain food.

Some Americans do, some Americans don't. America is often called a "melting pot" of cultures and various people grow up with various types of food. There are Americans of English, French, Italian, African, Indian, Russian, Mexican, Chinese ext. families. So depending on what the individual is used to (may it be due to the food they grew up in or just on their genetic make-up) they will like different foods. Personally, I cannot stand any bit of spice in my foods, but that is me. Most people in my family love spicy food. You cannot generalize all Americans together.

can make the nose bleed? dam that must be some spicy stuff! im american and i like spicy food - spicy chicken wings, curry, chinese food, chili, salsa. mmm. its actually really good for your sinuses too, most of the time my nose is all stuffed up.

I absolutely love spicy foods.... whenever I find myself in a Thai restaurant, I always order it up as hot as I can get it, not to mention actively seeking out foods that contain ghost chilis.

I like mildly spicy food like jalapenos and horseradish, but not those that cause pain!

I don't love or hate it, it's just another ingredient that might or might not work well with the dish... but I know most americans have pretty bland taste buds

I love spicy food but my stomach don't I can not eat it because I have acid reflex really bad
