What else might Turkish Sausage (Sucuk) be known as? No stupid answers please.

I like Sucuk (pronounced suh-juke) but there are very few places that sell it near me, at least under that name. Apparently other countries call it something else (essentially though it is a very spicy and fatty beef sausage).

Does anyone know what the other names are?

Answers:

Garlic sausage there are many types available suggest you simply google "garlic sausage" good luck

Sucuk is sucuk. It's basically a sausage, normally made with beef, but NEVER with pork! I don't live in the UK, but I can buy it at my local multicultural store. It's called sucuk and is prepacked. The packs have a detailed description of what it is in German, French and English.

I hope this helps
