Baked potatoes! Mmmm...compliments the steak very well. Add a little garlic, pepper, and salt and butter, and your meal will be great! =]

Baked sweet potatoes. Cook for about an hour and put butter and cinnamon on them.

coleslaw

Mashed potatoes, green beans, and wild rice sound like a perfect match for steak with mushrooms.

Potatoes (baked, mashed garlic, scalloped, daphinoise) are a classic steak side.

Also there's nothing wrong with zucchini, squash, or broccoli (or most vegetables for that matter).

Just make sure if you're pan-searing the steaks to deglaze and make a yummy pan sauce out of it.

Do some potatoes on the grill, cut & peel potatoes slice them thin , lay them on some tin foil, add butter, salt& pepper, garlic powder, & onion, cover with another piece of foil, fold the sides over so the butter doesnt run out & cook for about 45 minutes. *Hint: make sure you use alot of butter so that the potatoes dont stick to the tinfoil & burn*

the usual baker with all the fixins, but a very cold beer hits the spot perfectly, drooooooool!!!!!!!

i personally like asparagus with butter and garlic. another good side dish would be a creamed spinach...you can find a good recipe on food.com and all of these go good with baked potatoes or mashed potatoes. enjoy!!

see everyone like potatoes but I say yellow rice. Its not white, its yellow! I never had a mom who made great homemade meals so I know the basic stuff on pre made meals. I'm pretty sure its called rice-a-roni chicken flavored rice. Its excellent!

beer

Mash potatoes, baked potato, mac&cheese, sweet peas, salad,au gratin potatoes, green beans.I would say anything will go with steak.

oh so many choices.. you can sautee onions and peppers with your mushrooms.. sauteed or creamy spinach. steamed broccoli or mixed veggies.. baked potato is good.. twice baked potato is better.. rosemary with roasted garlic mashed potatoes.. yum!... garlic bread is good.. or french onion soup.. potato salad, cole slaw or even a side salad are good.. hot peppers and pickles.. i forgot fries.. or rather steak fries..

so of the above choices, itll depend on my mood what i would eat as a side dish with the above meal.. if i didnt care and was at a bbq that i was hosting, any of the above potato dishes are good, because they are filling alone, and can feed a crowd.

if i was eating at a restaurant, id go with any of the vegetables.. like the sauteed spinach.. its so good yum with the steak..

cole slaw, pickles, and hot peppers will sometimes cut through the fat of the steak.. they have that sour taste and can add a different taste to the monotony of eating just beef.

fries, or steak fries, have their own category because even when you go to a fancy french restaurant they'll serve you fries with your steak.. the carbs in them might even help you pack away a 24 oz. steak.. they sop up the juice left over when you cut into it.. and just an all around good side dish.
