Treat yourself to a thai dish since it's not fattening. They use very little oil to fry the dishes on top lean chicken, veggies and steamed rice are very good for your health.. Live in Thailand and most people are very thin!

It depends on your eating habits while dieting. If you strive to eat healthy around 85% of the time, you won't get too off track.. that doesn't mean a whole pizza, 3 liter coke and cheesecake for dessert of course, but sometimes, we just NEED to eat something that makes us happy to get back on track with more restrictive food choices. Be aware of what you "cheat" with, but don't deprive yourself until you feel like you HAVE to binge to compensate! Good luck!

To me, the omelette sounds better because you know how to make it healthy, but you don't know if the Thai food is fattening or not, or if they make it a particular way. I'd say stick to the omelette, you'll save money too.
