Couscous is a grain product made from semolina (coarsely ground durum wheat) or, in some regions, from coarsely ground barley or pearl millet. In Brazil, the traditional couscous is made from pre-cooked sweet-corn flakes.[3]

The semolina is sprinkled with water and rolled with the hands to form small pellets, sprinkled with dry flour to keep them separate, and then sieved.

In Libya, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, couscous is generally served with vegetables (carrots, potatoes, turnips, et al.) cooked in a spicy or mild broth or stew, and some meat (generally, chicken, lamb or mutton).

ITS A STARCH BASE. ITS LIKE LITTLE PASTA. AND YOU CAN MAKE IT DIFFERENT WAYS. I LIVE IN THE SOUTH SO YOU KNOW FRYING IS INVOLVED. SO YOU CUT AN ONION REALLY GOOD, AND PUT IT IN A FRYING PAN AND ADD COUSCOUS AND WATER ON IT WITH SPICES. ON THE SIDE FRY OR GRILL SOME MEAT AND MAYBE BOIL SOME VEGGIES. YOU GOT TO TASTE THE COUSCOUS TO SEE IF ITS DONE. TASTE LIKE PASTA. YOU CAN DO IT

It is a dish from north africa and it is delicious ,
