What is a good thing to order at an Indian restaurant if you don't like spicy food?!

Question: What is a good thing to order at an Indian restaurant if you don't like spicy food?
I'm going on a date tonight, and even after mentioning that I'm not a fan of spicy food, he put in reservations at an Indian restaurant, which has a lot of spicy foods.
What is a good thing to order that is not spicy?

Answers:

salad
water

just ask the waiter, they will know what is and isn't spicy

- Raita (cucumber, mint, cumin, yogurt dip) + Naan
- Keema Naan (lamb filled naan bread)
- Onion Kulcha (onion stuffed naan)
- Pilau or Biryani (spiced rice)
- Korma curry (Kormas are usually the more mild and creamy type of Indian curry)
- Pasanda (full of spice, not hot... but creamy, rich and nutty)
- Alu Gobi (cauliflower + potato in sauce)
- Saag Paneer (spinach and cheese in sauce)
- Onion Relish + Poppadoms
- Mango Lassi
- Onion Bhaji (onion, chick-pea flour fritters)

Not all Indian food is spicy. In the UK all menus have descriptions of the dishes and grade their heat. Korma and Patia dishes are very mild and Madras is hot and Vindaloo hotter still. Usually they are listed from hot to mild.

korma is good, mild and creamy. or chicken chasni is another creamy sauce, very mild. 2 safe bets.

years of experience not liking spicy food! i like flavourful spices not hot spices.

korma is a good choice, as is butter chicken, tadka dhal (lentils), pilaf rice, rotis or naans (bread), raita (salad). Spinach too is flavourful and mild and would suit your palate.

Indian

Korma dishes are quite mild due to their use of cream &/or yoghurt.
