i like to use an axe

there is a "device" that you can buy for that. its mainly to drive the middle out of the pineapple. its real easy.

I cut each end off, about an inch.
Then slice in half (length wise)
Then remove core from each half.
Then slice it up into the size you would like and "peel" each piece.

peel thehard stuff off then cut the tall green crap off. cut it into wheels.

get a real long sharp kniffe and cut off the spiky bit, then cut it into slices and then just chopp offf the outside bits, its easier to do when its smaller and if u have one of those apple core cutter outters use that to get rid of the hairy bit in the middle, should work!!!! x

Take a knife & cut strips off the sides from top to bottom. Go all the way around 'til all the rind is off. Then make four cuts in the pineapple from top to bottom around the core. Throw the core away & cut the other four pieces into squares & eat.

First cut off the top. Carefully slice off the rind. Then cut out the core. Now slice into rings or cubes, as you like it.

Slice off the top and bottom. With the bottom side on the table, carefully run a knife down the side following the curve of the fruit.
After all skin is removed, slice the pineapple in half from top to bottom, then each half into Fourths the same way.
With the quarters laying on their side, cut away the center core.
Can then be cut into spears or chucks depending on your preference.

the top, then bottom, and then you stand it up and vertically cut off the outside :)

mmmmm pineapple.

Either way, once you're done, it will be well worth it.

Lay the pineapple on its side slice of the bottom about 1/2 up then do the same to the top, Now you can stand it up and it will be stable. If possible get a serrated knife for this nex part. Starting at the top slice the hard skin off from top to bottom be careful it can get slippery. Get as much skin off as possible the you can cut it into rings or what ever.

The core of the pineapple should not be eaten cut it out after you cut it into rings.

Preparing fresh pineapple slices is easy if you follow this four-step process.

Step 1: Remove the crown and cut off the top and base.

Step 2: Cut off wide strips of the peel. Cut just deep enough to remove the skin; you'll remove the eyes in the next step.

Step 3: Remove the eyes by cutting narrow wedge-shaped grooves diagonally around the fruit, following the pattern of the eyes.

Step 4: Slice the pineapple into disks. Then use a coring tool or sharp paring knife to remove the tough center portion of each disk.

To cut into chunks: Using a sharp chef's knife, cut the whole pineapple lengthwise into halves, then quarters. Use a serrated knife to slice away the tough core, then run the knife between the fruit and the peel to separate. Finally, cut the fruit into chunks or fingers-sized portions.
