Does home made baklava freeze well?!

Question:

Does home made baklava freeze well?

Answers:
It does just fine, like they said freeze with plastic wrap in between the layers of already cut into squares baklava. DONT stick it in the microwave to defrost. My husband did this, and it just makes a mess. Its best to let it sit and defrost at room temperature.

Yes-I'm still eating it made at Christmas time.Freeze in single layers cut.

yes it does, just make sure it thaws all the way. if you get too anxious and try eating it too cold, the texture just isnt right.

Baklava freezes very well. I have always froze baklava and it tastes fine upon defrosting. Freeze in an air tight container, with cling film between the layers. Defrost at room temperature.
