Does it really matter using a sushi knife or not?!

My best advice would be to get a well sharpened knife and protect the blade once it has been sharpened.
You don't need a special knife, just a decent, sharp chef's knife.
I make sushi at home a lot, I do have a sushi knife but I don't find it any more functional than any of my other knives. The little divets on the sides sort of help to keep things from sticking, but not always.
Not really, no. :)
I'm not "like a SUSHI EXPERT" but.. I know a bit about sushi. I make maki sushi occasionally.
And I'm not Asian. :P
Buuut... just use a sharp knife- the sharpest knife you have. Unless you're going to be making sushi all day everyday, you don't need to invest in a real sushi knife.
well, sushi nives more acurate, but i wud use any good knife.
I maek sushi 2 times a week
any knofe will do just don't cut yourself...
