Cake baking?!

Question:

Cake baking?

I have heard of people baking cakes in ice cream cones, How does that work?

Answers:
You need to use the ice cream cones that are flat on the bottom. Set them up in deep muffin pans and use liners so the bottoms don't burn. Fill them about 3/4 of the way with batter, so when they bake, they rise over the top to look like an actual scoop of ice cream. (They actually look more like cupcakes baked in cones.) Bake same time and temp as normal. The moisture in the batter keeps the cone from burning. Frost as usual. Good luck. Hope this helps..

Maybe you are thinking of the bakeware that just came out that looks like ice cream cones and makes the cake in the shape of ice cream cones. Because cake bakes half an hour usually and I think the cones would burn

I have yet to try one though

It can be done, I have eaten quite a few, never baked them though. heres a link. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cone-cupcak...

Set the cones in a muffin tin so they don't fall over and fill about 3/4 full and bake like normal sometimes they take just a little longer.
