Sure. I grew up in California. During the Summer I often sliced Avocado, sprinkled with Lemoin juice to prevent browning and ate it as a snack with a little salt. Before somebody says " Avocados ripen in Winter " We bought the large green skinned kind from a road side stand. The Hass ( black ones ) ripen in Winter and I eat them the same way. Avocado sandwiches are good too.

While avocados do contain a high amount of fat, they mostly contain monounsaturated fat, which is one of the healthy and beneficial fats that might actually help prevent heart disease and enhance memory. However, fat is still fat even if it is the "good" kind. The recommended daily intake (RDI) of fat is 65 grams and one cup of avocado contains almost one third of your fat intake for a day, about 23 grams. (One cup of avocado equals about 150 grams, a little over half a pound, and roughly the equivalent of a medium avocado.) Aside from fat content, avocados offer plenty of antioxidants like lutein and beta carotene. Yes you can eat the they are healthy for you to eat but fat too.

Cut in in half and sprinkle a little salt and eat with a spoon.

Scoop it out and eat it in a flour or corn tortilla.

Scoop it out and make a sandwich with it and add lettuce and tomatoe.

Well...why couldn't you?

:D

Guacamole and chips is a fairly popular snack, for example.

Yea, you could if you wanted to. They are really rich in nutrients but they're also fattening. This is why people use them in salads or something of the sort.

High calorie but yes. I like to halve, fill with cottage cheese and top with lemon juice and coarse black pepper. Delicious
