what does cat meat taste like? What is its texture?!

Question: What does cat meat taste like? What is its texture?
I ate at an asian restaurant today, and I just wanted to find out, what is its texture like? I hope I didn't eat cat meat when I was supposed to be eating beef..... the asian restaurant is in New Jersey and not overseas.

Answers:

You had some very tender, very unnatural tasting meats with reddish interior that's very different from the beef you know didn't you? There's no need to worry. The meat you ate was 100% beef. Some Chinese use an effective method to tenderize their meats that will destroy a lot of flavor and alter the texture and sometimes interior color of the meat. I can guarantee you it wasn't cat meat. If it was there would be no mistaking it for beef. Cat flesh is white, like chicken/turkey, and is EXTREMELY lean. So, if you did it some it would probably be extremely dry because cats have minimal fat. Beef is brown.

I've dissected cats in college.

Beef is not expensive so there would be no economical reason for them to use something like cat meat in its place. Plus even if they did, someone would find out right away and they would be reported. So don't worry about it...

The main reason why I don't eat oriental foods is that I don't know what I'm eating.

Ugh. I don't eat my friends >^,,^<

But you didn't eat cat meat. Probably just a lousy cut of beef if it tasted a little funky.

The restaurant usually calls it Ckicken Chow Meow. hahaha

Don't worry, they don't serve cat, only dog.
