What was this dish, help please?!
Hi everyone,
Years ago I ate at a Chinese Restaurant and one of the dishes (I think it was an entree) was seaweed which I think just had salt on it. It was cold and I thought it was called "mermaids tail" but when I looked it up on the internet nothing came up.
Does anyone know this dish, I asked other people who were with me and they said it was just seaweed but it was very nice^_^

It was just kombu. Kombu is a large flat seaweed used in many Asian soups.
