You could just buy it from the shops, it comes in a big slab.

You then cut it to the size cubes you desire, then seal them by frying lightly until they are browned (takes a couple of minutes).

I personally like paneer in an indian dish called Achaar Saag Paneer. Which is a tangy spinach and paneer curry.

Hi: Making paneer takes a few hours. Actually creating the paneer takes only as long as it takes the milk to boil. Boil 1/2 gallon of milk, stirring constantly so it does not get scorched. Add several tablespoons of white vinegar or lemon juice and remove from heat. Curds of milk should separate from the liquid milk (whey) and form a thick mass. The remaining whey should have a greenish yellow color. If you don't get this type of result, add more vinegar or lemon juice a bit at a time until you do. Drain the curds in cheesecloth - tying the cheesecloth full of curds over a long spoon and hanging that over a kettle works good. When the whey has drained from the paneer, place it on a plate with another plate on top and place a weight on the top plate to firm it up. Put in fridge for several hours until firm. Then you can use it according to your recipe.

Me - I love paneer!
