Need ideas for a Japanese dinner, please help?!

Question: Need ideas for a Japanese dinner, please help?
For my 21st birthday I'm planning a dinner, Japanese/Oriental theme, whichever works best.

I want to make is as authentic-looking as possible.

This is what I have/plan to get:
-kimono (already have it)
-bowls/chopsticks/sushi trays
-sake and sake set and/or tea set
-candles
-music

Also:
-Sushi
-sticky rice
-rolls

I still don't know what to serve as a main dish and for desert.

Any ideas on food, decorations, even etiquette will be appreciated.

I just want to make my birthday fun, memorable and different from my usual Mexican-style parties.

Thank you for you time

At the heart of most Japanese meals are three basic bowls: rice, soup and a main dish. The soup is easy to make if you make Miso soup (see recipe link below). For the main dish, I recommend one or a few of the following. teriyaki chicken, tempura, karaage, and nikujyaga. These are all quick and easy to make if you have the right ingredients. See the link below for the easy to cook recipe.
