What is the difference between a lemon and a lime in cooking terms?!

Question: What is the difference between a lemon and a lime in cooking terms?
Answers:

Lemons are generally more tart.
Limes are more fragrant and usually have more of a bitter taster.

They usually are not good substitutes for each other.

Lemonade is much easier to make because lemons are juicier... I also think it tastes better- I guess that is why you see limeade mixed with something else usually, like cherry.

Cooking and often times finding lemon juice instead of lime juice, and vice versa!

I used both as if they where the same but lemons are kind of sweet and limes are sour and if you make lime aid using fresh limes is more refreshing than lemonade you just have to add the correct amount of sugar usually more sugar than lemonade. hope that helps.
