Is octopus sushi good?!
Answers:
I don't like baby octopus, personally, because it is rather rubbery. The taste is fine, its the texture that gets me. On the other hand my family members love it because of the unusual sensation of having 20-30 suckers stick to your tounge. But don't worry, it doesn't sting to your throat. So the only real way of knowing whether its good is to just go for it and try it.
Personal knowledge
I like octopus, but baby octopus is not my favorite. The bigger octopus has nicer, meatier texture to it than the baby ones.
I don't like octopus in a salad; octopus takes a lot of work to work flavor into. Most of the time the 'salad' cannot get enough flavor into the octopus, and the sauce/dressing is not thick enough to flavor the octopus. The result is a rubbery flavorless thing that most people comes to dislike because the restaurants don't know how to make it right.
Octopus or tako sushi is an acquired taste and a lot of non-Japanese dislike it due to the texture of the octopus which can be a little rubbery. I don`t recommend it if you haven`t tried other sushi yet such as tuna, salmon and shrimp. If you are an experienced sushi connoisseur then I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

I had baby octopus once and thought it was nasty. Even though it was cooked. It was all rubbery and just had a weird taste to it. Then again, I don't particularly like calamari for the same reason.
