Why does everything taste like chicken?!

Question:

Why does everything taste like chicken?

I've never eaten meat so I couldn't say, but I don't think that all vegetables taste like potatos, so why do people say that every exotic meat (like frog legs, squirrel, raccon, nutria, etc) tastes like chicken? Does it really all taste like chicken?

And if it does all taste like chicken, what's the point of eating weird nasty stuff like frogs and racoons?

It's a glitch in the MATRIX. We don't even know what chicken really tastes like.

no they don't taste like chicken

Because everything is the other white meat. And some people claim weird animals are "fine dining."

thaz wut feels like to our human`mind, it reminds us of chicken. u cant help it, it is an instinct.

No it all tastes different.

It's just a joke.....lighten up.

No, it doesn't. They just have no clue what they are tasting so they say it tastes like chicken.

I, being Asian, have had a lot of exotic meats and none of the meats I have tasted, tasted like chicken except for maybe chicken. lol

I have never really had any exotic meat before, but I think that may just be a figure of speech. Maybe to imply that there is nothing really special or different about it... I don't think anything tastes like chicken, besides chicken of course.. :)

My friends do not talk about frog yet, there are those who eat even cat, dogs and donkey I wonder if you knew about this as well, even me I eat frogs, they test just like a chicken.

when the first rain fall, early the morning of that day people have to go and catch them, but then there are types of frog to be eaten, those in sewage yellowish are poisonous don't it them,

I suppose it's because chicken itself is quite bland and tasteless, which is why they're best for thick/rich sauce like teriyaki. So it's very useful for generalisation, in my opinion.

On a serious note, I personally.don't think everything tastes like chicken. I haven't compared them un-seasoned, and they all do taste like 'meat' (most carbon) but there are different flavours and textures.
