For the marinade I use yogurt, lemon juice, coriander, cumin, cardamom, ginger, garlic, cloves, red & black pepper...
But the only way to really get that 'tandoor' flavor is to cook the food in an actual tandoor. Tandoors are cylindrical clay ovens and impart a unique flavor to foods cooked in them.
