Fetal Soup, fact? Fiction? Opinions?!
Before you bash me with any defensive or racist comments about how I am being biased/racist myself, I am Chinese and luckily have not been pressured or harassed by racist remarks personally. I'd love to hear your opinions but if you are commenting without researching on what is actually being posted here, your comment will not be deleted just to show the rest of the world how pathetically uneducated you are. Oh, to answer your questions, yes I do realize that many other countries have unique delicacies. I'm just pointing out that if this is true and even if it is not, China has some extreme weird foods.
I have been to China and it is a fact that they eat the weirdest things ranging from the smallest of critters such as insects to what is now being debated amongst people all around the world: human fetus. Some things are accepted as delicacies such as bird's nest (which is pretty much bird saliva), sea cucumbers, etc. Even the frogs, snakes, turtles, water beetles and pig brains that are served on their plates are dismissed as typical China dishes. I swear the first time I saw the snakes that are curled up in bottles behind the chinese medicines stores, soaking in wine, and the first time I saw the (literally) boxes filled with stingrays, eels, and insects, I thought for sure I have seen the weirdest things in China. But why eat dogs, cats, horse penis, when they can eat fetus soup, right?
How much of this rumour is true? How much of it is false? Anyone want to verify? I plan to travel to China next year to find out.

Insects - Not that difficult to find in Beijing.
Snakes - Not hard to find in restaurants in many parts of China.
Mice - I've never seen those person but they do exist. Some people in Canton and Guanxi do eat them.
"Intimate delicacy" - Not that easy to find but they do exist.
Will most Chinese eat items listed above - Nope. Most Chinese are terrified of those items. The most popular item in the list above - snake. The status of those items listed above are somewhat similar to alligators, armadillos, possums, skunks, rattle snakes, snapping turtles and/or rocky mountain oysters eaten in the US.
Pangolin fetus soup - Never heard of this one or anything similar.
Main topic - Someone posted a detailed link explaining this before. It was the act of one Chinese sicko. Unlike Jeffrey Dahmer, this sicko took detailed pictures/videos and showed them to the public as "unconventional art". Needless to say, the sicko was sentenced. A Chinese troll found and used those sick pictures and falsely spread rumors of "fetal soup" was being secretly sold. He too, was sentenced; this is a big price to pay for being a "successful" stupid internet troll.
You need to go to China to see for yourself, lady. That is the only way you will ever be 100% sure about quelling your curiosity. Words can be quite empty.
