What is this new dish called Cus Cus?!

Question: What is this new dish called Cus Cus?
I hear it's some North African concoction that's becoming popular in Sicily.

Answers:

If you mean "couscous," I'm surprised it wasn't popular in Sicily sooner. It's popular in a lot of places in the U.S. It's sort of like a pastina, but it's not pasta, it's made from wheat. There's also Israeli couscous, which is more like a mini-pearl shaped pasta. Both are delicious.

Well, its not new- its called couscous. It can be tiny pinhead sized pastas cooked quickly by pouring hot water on it. It can also be bigger sized spheres- like bbs. It is a popular dish in Morocco.

I think you mean couscous (see link, below) and it's not new at all, it's been around for hundreds of years.
