Any korean dinner ideas?!

Question: Any korean dinner ideas?
I really want to make a korean meal for my family. I dont not want to make jajangmyun or ramen or anything like that. Maybe a soup like soondubu? Does anyone know recipes to make a good dinner? (Does not have to be soup) Thanks!

Answers:

kimchi is always great to lay out as a side dish naturally, and there are also a ton of other pickled things that are great space fillers in korean food (look them up! they'll always have kimchi somewhere in the name as well).

Speaking of which though, I'm a huge fan of kimchi stew, it's unbelievably easy to make so long as you have enough kimchi and can fill a nice spot on the table as well.

Another favorite dish of mine is pork and kimchi fried rice, I like the taste of the kimchi fried it's just delicious.

There's always bulgogi or kalbi as well (bulgogi is better when it's marinated for a while..but I've made it plenty of times on the spot and still had people raving over it). Marinated rice sticks is also another amazing dish.

http://www.maangchi.com/ <----this website is amazing. The woman is not only an amazing cook but will give the best tips and likes to change her recipes every now and again for an even better result. She includes videos as well as pictures and full out directions on every dish.

Good luck!

My own experience as well as the above mentioned lovely website!

KIM CHI.... not sure about the spelling...spicy fermented cabbage. Delicious!
