no , it does not make u fat. if you cook it like most asian people do. no salt , no butter in the rice,cooked with pain water, just good plain rice. we eat rice everyday since we children 1 day at least 2 times and you can see almost asian have small body and flat stomach. i think is depend on the way your living style and also what food you match it with. in asia we don't eat too much butter, cheese , meat. sometimes is okay but not like 3 times a day.

no in asia and spain that's the main diet rice and meal is the same word in japanese 'gohan' because it's eaten with every single meal it's in sushi, rice balls, rice cakes everything and.. it's very good for you not brown rice white rice people here seem scared of it carbs = fat.. no carbs = energy aslong as you're walking and active it's fine
It is a starchy food and carbohydrate. It can be fattening if you consume it excessively. 1-2 moderate servings is nothing. Don't worry about it. # servings is a little overboard.
