Answers:
6 - 8 Cups Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
3 Medium "Sliced Up" Onions
? Stick Butter
1/3 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Add worcestershire. Stir until well blended.
Next, add onions first, followed with the mushrooms.
Cover and on medium heat, bring to a slow simmer.
Simmer covered for 1 hour stirring occasionally after the first 30 minutes.

OR

2 medium onions
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
salt pepper
Peel and slice the onions. Stem and slice the mushrooms.

2. Heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent and just beginning to brown.

3. Add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper and sauté until most of the moisture has been absorbed. Set aside to cool. Add the shredded cheese.

4. To make the Filo triangles you will need a package of frozen Filo dough that has been thawed overnight in the refrigerator. You will also need a can of vegetable cooking spray. Unfold the dough so that it is a rectangle with the long side pointing toward you. Cut a 2 1/2 inch vertical strip from the dough and stack the strip in front of you. Spray the top sheet of dough with cooking spray. Place a small amount of filling in the lower corner of the strip and fold over into a triangle as if you were folding a flag. Continue with the next strip and cut fresh strips from the dough as needed. Place the completed triangles on a baking sheet and brush with cold water or spray with vegetable cooking spray. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

butter
red wine

You can use olive oil, spanish onions(the red ones), portobello mushrooms, and a little hint of either garlic, or onion powder(spices)..It wips u fast and tastes awesome.

I usually use a dash of seasoned salt, some green onion (scallions) and olive oil.

For the simplest mushroom saute, simply saute them in butter, season with plenty of salt and pepper, and add a squeeze of lemon juice when they’re just about done; this is much more than the sum of its parts. For a deeper flavor, use balsamic vinegar in place of lemon juice, suggests tochipotle. Deglazing with brandy or white wine is a classic treatment. For a rich, saucier dish, add a splash of heavy cream and a dab of Dijon mustard at the end instead, and heat until bubbling. Many like to saute minced garlic or onions with the mushrooms, but self-described mushroom fiend Dommy thinks shallots are a superior match. All agree that fresh thyme and mushrooms are a beautiful combination, enhancing each others’ flavors. Other woodsy herbs, like rosemary abd marjoram, also go well with mushrooms.

I use clarified butter~ cheers

Butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder

I just use some EVOO/ Extra Virgin Olive Oil for overall sauteing. Sometimes I like to add crushed garlic too depending on what I'm using the ingredients for. Or you could saute in soy sauce, lemon juice or wine, depends on what flavors you enjoy and what dish(es) you're preparing.

Have fun!

You can saute them in butter, margarine, or Pam (not usually oil--to greasy for mushrooms and onions).

I like to add garlic powder and pepper (sometimes lemon juice), and use it on steak, hamburger, or almost any meat--also with broiled/grilled fish fillets. If with steak or hamburger, I like a bit of A1 Sauce on it too.

I use garlic (fresh or the minced), ginger, a splash of italian salad dressing, ground black pepper, and butter-- or if its more for steak i will use a little worchestershire and soy sauce in there also...

butter in the pan, brown the onions b/4 adding the mushrooms. A little red wine will work too.

Butter, margarine, olive oil, vegetable oil. After you saute the mushrooms and onions, beat some eggs with a tablespoon of milk and add to the saute pan.Stir and cook till the eggs are done and serve with toast(great for dinner!)

Here is a very basic recipe including wine.
Add your own flair to it by using your own choice of wine, depending on what you are serving them with. Sometimes I add cream if the entree warrants it.
