Has some one ever said "EW" to some thing you love to eat?!

Question: Has some one ever said "EW" to some thing you love to eat?
I know people who like to eat pretty random things like pickles and peanut butter I personally like syrup and ketchup on my eggs and people say that's nasty but hey tou cant knock it till you try it. :) whats your"nasty" food craving?

Answers:

I'm Taiwanese, so pretty much any kind of ethnic food is grounds for people to gag at. Typical foods that I eat that Americans would not touch at all: chicken feet, sliced and braised pork ears, chitlin, beef tendons and tripe, beef tongue, rooster "fries", and stinky tofu. Those are pretty obvious "EW" foods that Travel Channels or slideshows would use to freak people out.

One not so obvious but still unsettling to many people is oyster omelette, which has a thick gooey starchy layer on top, and generously covered in sweet-spicy sauce. If the gooey starch doesn't turn people off, and it does turn most people off, then they will find some way to be offended and disgusted (-rolls eyes-) by the sauce.

What I like to say is that what some people think is disgusting is often normal food for other people. Can't take something like whole fish? Asians eat it that way all the time.

Yes!

My inlaws were COMPLETELY grossed out (well, except my Father In Law) when I told them that one of my great childhood pleasures was eating COLD meat pies with mushy peas. My Sister in Law was completely grossed out by the fact that I liked mushy peas with my pies, them when she realised I liked them COLD she turned the same colour as my mushy peas!

My Father in Law likes to stick raspberry jam on his scrambled eggs, I'm kind of hesitant to try it!
