Question: Questions about buckwheat. How do you use it. Please help!?
I need to go gluten free. Where can I find buckwheat. Does it have to be hulled, unhulled, and does it even have a hull. Can I throw it in soups? Can I cook it for breakfast, like oatmeal, any suggestions and recipes would be a tremendous help. Thanks.

Most buckwheat is already hulled and you can cook it like oatmeal for breakfast.

Eating it like porridge for breakfast is incredibly filling, I suggest adding fruits and nuts for the flavor as well.

Most buckwheat can be bought from Amazon.com, go for the flower if you want to eat it that way...

Buckwheat noodles (also called Soba Noodles) are delicious. Just google "soba noodle recipes" and you'll find some good stuff. Buckwheat pancakes are great too. You can find buckwheat pancake mix at the grocery store.

Just for your information, I would like to let you know we Japanese consume quite a lot of buckwheat by way of noodle.
