Onigiri. They're not often found in restaurants, but sometimes those izakaya (Japanese pub) places have the toasted kind, which are yummy. You can make them yourself. Just get Japanese white rice, some nori, and fillings like cooked salmon, umeboshi, or katsuobushi (there are others)

you can make them yourself. just get some rice and put something in the middle (salmon) and cover it with rice. you roll it into a ball or triangle then appky the dried seaweed so your hands dont stick to the rice.

Onigiri. It's a ball of rice rolled up with a piece of nori, or seaweed. You can make them yourself at home with Japanese sticky rice, salt, and nori sheets.

onigiri or omusubi. They are rice balls, often filled with something (like pickled plum or fish) and the black strip outside is nori (dried, roasted seaweed).

Onigiri, I think? :)
