(I asked this question in other section because i'm not sure which section i must post this to get a good answers)
I heard about it on the Internet that some muslim countries stopped selling kellogg's product because it contain pork derivatives! Is it true? Because it already written on the box it doesn't contain pork derivatives! Beside I am muslim and don't eat pork, I am vegetarian and i don't like any cereal but kellogg's, so I want to make sure.

Kellogg's Cornflakes DOES NOT contain pork products
See the e-mail my brother received from Kellogg's below.

Please note that the only CEREAL which has gelatin in it is the "Frosted Wheats" breakfast cereal.

This is patently false - it is merely a rumour. American companies are held to very high standards regarding packaging and information about ingredients, unlike other countries.

According to Kelloggs:
Kellogg's Corn Flakes?

Ingredients:
Milled corn, sugar, malt flavoring, high fructose corn syrup, salt, reduced iron, niacinamide, sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), riboflavin (vitamin B2), thiamin hydrochloride (vitamin B1), vitamin A palmitate, folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin D. To maintain quality, BHT has been added to the packaging.

Allergen Information:
Corn used in this product contains traces of soybeans.

Kosher Status:
Kosher Dairy

I have heard that other products also contain pork derivatives and have to wonder if it is a rumor started by the competition to keep the people from buying it so they will buy their product instead. Corporate sabotage is pretty common and more than just rumors, they can be downright evil at it.

It is total garbage!

This is an urban myth put about to upset people of low mental ability and especially uneducated Jewish and Muslim people of low mental ability.

Fact. Corn flakes are made of flaked corn.

In the USA, if you look on the package and there is a Kosher symbol a U or a K.
There is no pork products used in the cereal.

At least with Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes, both have the Kosher symbol so it's pork free.

Catherine you are so insensitive! Im not sure. But its illegal to say something on the box and then in truth it does contain it. So i highly doubt it. But im not sure. Goodluck

i cant believe u dont eat pig you just have to try bacon omg so nice
