Is potato worthless?!

Question:

Is potato worthless?

but i like potato very much, and who can tell me how to make mush potato?

Answers:
worthless? no! it has potassium and other goodies in it. it just gets a bad rap becuse everyone is anti carbs. It is beter for you then rice or pasta!

Mashed potato:
boil potatoes until soft (usually 1 per person) in salted water
drain, return to warm pot
mash with potato masher then gradually add butter until soft
stir in light cream until at desired consistancy.

I like o add grated paresan to my mashed potatoes - yum!

I have never heard of mush potato. I do enjoy mashed potatoes, however.

No, potatoes do have some good. What most people put on them make them bad. Sweet potatoes are better than white by far. To make mashed potatoes, you boil them in water til they are mushy then drain the water and mash them or use a hand mixer. Adding flavor such as butter and salt to taste makes them taste better but also makes them worse for you.

WORTHLESS????!!! are you mad?! potatoes are the best kind of anything that ever existed anywhere in the entire universe ever!!!

Mashed potatoes:

Take one or two potatoes (or as many as will fit in a small 1 quart pot)
Peel all the potatoes, that is remove the thin layer of peel from the potato. Throw the peels away.
Cut the potatoes into smaller chunks on a chopping board. Put the potato chunks into your cooking pot.
Fill pot with enough water to just cover potatoes.
Cook on stove at medium heat. The water will start to boil. Let the water boil, check the potatoes by sticking a fork in them. If the fork goes all the way through a potato chunk easily, the potatoes are done. Turn off the heat.
Drain the water from the potatoes, being careful not to pour the potatoes down the drain too!
Some people like to add a little bit of butter, salt and pepper to the boiled potatoes.
You can use a potato masher tool to smash the potato chunks, some people like to use their electric hand mixer. If you use the mixer, add a little bit of chicken broth, or milk (or rice milk if you are allergic to dairy like me!) to moisten the potatoes so they don't stick as much.
When they are mixed, smashed with a creamy texture, they are done. Dish up and enjoy!

Your English is worthless if that helps any.
