Who think Vodka is nasty besides me????
I was drinking some Vodka last nite and i taste it for the very first time its soo nasty i almost vomit. I mixed it with coke and it was still nasty. Who also feels this way?

Only the cheap kind tastes nasty; the good kind you aren't really supposed to taste at all. Try either a better vodka or a better mixer, but you still may not like it. I won't drink it straight either unless it is top grade. Happy drinking!

vodka is a Russian word for furniture polish. Just kidding. I wouldn't drink it on a dare though, it's awful. I'm convinced that people who do profess to liking it are liars and cheats and drive exotic foreign sports cars in a vain attempt to be thought of as cool.
lol yea vodka is strong by itself. but i wouldnt agree on mixing it with coke. i love vodka but always mix it with either hawian punch or cranberry juice. also depends on the kind of vodka. i would suggest grey goose. just experiment. its actually very good.
Like others said, try different mixes, also I hate the way cheap vodka tastes. Higher end vodka, like Grey Goose, Belvedere, or even kettle one, are easier to drink. Try different ways, but really, dont try to get 'used' to the taste. That is a waste. Find a drink you like, you'll be happier.

Mix a Sea Breeze: equal parts vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit juice. It will mask the taste but still give that bite. Warm vodka tastes a little better than cold vodka, and if you don't like the taste, you shouldn't be shooting it straight.

Straight up, it's bad. For me to drink it, vodka has to be in a mixer.
Vodka ehhh.......it's like drinking rubbing alcohol....even grey goose taste bitter very not fun...mixing is cool with some gin or something.
Vodka is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, I would suggest ordering a high-end vodka like Grey Goose, Belvedere, Kettle One, or even Stolichnaya and mix it with some kind of juice or tonic, but NOT Coke. If you want to drink vodka without a mixer, I would highly recommend one of the orange flavored vodkas on the rocks.

It Is nasty by Itself..... I mix mine with pink or regular lemonade, hawaiian punch, anything sweet and fruity. I don't have to drink a lot either cause It always gives me a fast buzz!
I don't think I nor most people can take straight grain alcohol as potent as vodka.
Then again it could depend on the quality of the vodka, if you do want to go at it straight--sip it don't kill it (lol).
Vodka is a great mixer-upper
cheap vodka is disgusting, it is what kids use to quickly get drunk. But spend a little more between 30-40 dollars and the taste is a lot better, and enjoyable.
try it on the rocks and btw, u use too much vodka, not really supposed to taste it, lessen ur pour and use ice, makes a difference
