I have a co-worker from Bangledesh. Which *American* snack foods might be most appealing?!

Question: I have a co-worker from Bangledesh. Which *American* snack foods might be most appealing?
I have a team meeting on Monday for which I'd like to bring some snacks. I have noticed that my coworker often doesn't care for the food when we go out to eat, so I would like to select snack foods that he might like. The food could be fruit, candy, chips, etc. but most importantly it has to be something I can get from my local grocer!

Answers:

My brother in law is Bangladeshi and he eats anything. Bengali food isn't too big on dairy foods however they love sweet stuff (as can be seen from the huge amount of diabeties in Bengalis). Can you get stuff like Bombay mix, burfi etc. in the USA? Bangladesh has probably the most amazing mangoes in the whole world, try getting some of that.

I would try to get some Dates or dried fruits-Apricots, Mango, etc. They also like to eat spicy things so maybe some chili covered peanuts or even a Mango Chutney- which is like a salsa , served with pita chips or potato chips. Hope this helps.

I have Indian Co- workers.

Here are some ideas:

1. Mango
2. Jackfruit (probably only available in cans in the U.S)
3. Lychee (very expensive but he would eat that for sure)
4. Anything spicy would probably draw his attention.

Without knowing much about the person it is rather difficult but Mango maybe your best option but you may have to peel, slice it so it's edible using a fork.

I am from Bangladesh

"When in America, Do what the Americans do" to include the foods!!!
