What are some American candies that are popular in the UK?!


Question: What are some American candies that are popular in the UK?
I have a friend who lives in Brighton,and he is sending me some things for my dogs,so I am going to reciprocate with some American candy. If you live in the UK, what are some hard -to-come-by American candies that are popular?

Reece's Cups are popular but can be difficult to find - also Mike 'n' Ike candy, LifeSavers and Tootsie Roll have always gone down well with friends when I've brought them back from the States :)

urm, nothing i can think of but you could send some mountain dew as its really hard to come by over here! we can get mountain dew energy but not the origonal!
i dont really know what u mean by "american candy" lol...i would have thort u have the same as us? xx

tofiffay is very good although i think it is german maybe. You can buy it at walgreens or and drug store

Salt water taffy is a good idea. Don't send any American chocolate as we find it to be truly horrendous.

Not so sure if popular/hard-to-get in UK, but taffy is always a great gift.
