Can you send cookies express or will they melt?!

Question:

Can you send cookies express or will they melt?

for an occasion/birthday

homemade cookies or brownies/squares?

Answers:
I believe you can wrap or ziplock them really good and don't forget to have the post office mark perisable. Good Luck I hope I've been some help

Certain cookies transport better than others. I would do a search for "shipping cookies recipes" and see what you find. I would likely omit anything that is chocolate dipped or too terribly gooey. Oatmeal would be a good choice, or any drop cookie that isn't terrible gooey or filled with things that might melt during shipping. Pack them carefully and they should be fine!

Any will work, bake, seal, package on their side, (like oreos). Send. If they are sealed good they should last up to a week. Pack in plain pop corn, (it fills in all the cracks & weighs very little)

Just yesterday I mailed a box of homemade chocolate dipped butter cookies to Germany. I don't know how they will make out but if you ask this question again next week I will let you know.
