Easy,
Buy some of your favourite potatoes, cut them into 1 to 3 inch pieces, place them in lightly salted boiling water (there has to be enough water to cover the potatoes) bring them to a gentle boil, they're done when you stick a tooth pick in them and you have minimal resistance.
Drain the water, let them cool for about 15 mins.
Take some chopped green onions, salt, pepper and mayonnaise and mix gently.

boiled potatoes
celery
onions
hard boiled eggs
mayonnaise (not miracle whip... gak!)
sour cream
mustard
vinegar
salt and pepper
other assorted spices, as the mood hits...

sorry i can't/won't give specific amounts of anything, but my tater salad is never the same twice, depends upon my mood... i'm thinking of experimenting with bleu cheese next time. good luck!

YEA WELL YOU NEED TO PEEL SOME POTATOS. THEN WASH THEM OFF, NEXT YOU NEED TO PUT THEN IN A POT CUT UP AND PUT WATER ON THE POT UNTIL THE POTATOS ARE COVERED PUT ON THE STOVE UNTIL WATER IS BOILIN FOR ATLEAST 15 MIN. THEN YOU DRAIN THEM. AFTER THAT PUT THE POTATOS IN A BOWL WITH MAYO AND MUSTARD. MIX TOGETHER. YOU CAN PUT EGGS RELISH OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU ANT TO ADD TO IT.

I boil my potato's whole with the skins. Cool and peel, cut into bite size pieces. I use eggs but you don't have to. I chop up and onion and some celery. Use Hellman's real Mayo and a bit of mustard. Mix it up and mmmmmm it's chow time!

peeled, diced, cooked potatoes
Mayo
hardboiled eggs
relish
minced garlic
paprika
salt
black pepper
onion powder

Yes, eggs are usually required to provide the correct mouth feel to the salad.

My mom's goes like this:

Boiled potatoes, cut up
Boiled eggs (but if you want to leave them out, do), cut into circles, saving two for the garnish.
chopped celery, green onions, radishes

Mix all this in a serving bowl, add Miracle whip-type salad dressing, which you have previously thinned down a little with some milk. If you want, add a touch (just a touch!) of mustard for colouring. Stir until it is all coated. Cut your two eggs lengthwise in quarters and place them on top. Sprinkle a little paprika on top and voila!

Go to All Recpies. They have all kinds of good recpies!!!
