What is your absolute favorite Middle Eastern Food?!

I'm ashamed to admit it's felafel. I just have to have one every so often. Felafels were very popular here in California in the 70s, then they kind of went away, but now they're making a comeback.

I also love anything with lamb. I never liked lamb until I tasted it at a Turkish restaurant. And now I think all Muslim cultures seem to know just how to do lamb. Persian kebabs are wonderful. I also love schwarama, made with either lamb or chicken.

And I love babaganoush too, if it's good (some places we go have great babaganoush, some not so much).

Hmmm.Would have to say for me is Middle Eastern Rice. It's very good especially with Kebob(Shishkebob.)
