If you are making chicken salad with grapes in it, do you halve the grapes?!

Question:

If you are making chicken salad with grapes in it, do you halve the grapes?

Thanks!

Answers:
Halving the grapes is essential. did you ever try to stick a fork into a grape? or try biting into a whole one in a sandwich? It might shoot out the back causing massive destruction and angst for all those associated. Yeah, nevermind, but please do halve them

i do, yes... easier to eat.

Yes that's the way I have always had it. It is easier to eat.

yes yes yes

i do just because it's easier to eat and some of the juice from the grapes mixes in with my salad.

i also sometimes add craisins, walnuts, and gorgonzola...i wish i would of made that for dinner.

I do. It is timely.....

Yes, cut the grapes lengthwise. It is pretty and much easier to eat.

I'm a cook, but I've never made chicken salad with grapes (sound odd personally) but if i had to chose I'd go with halves, it would put the flavor of the grapes into the rest of the salad.

Yes, and add some toasted walnuts

Personally, I'd forget the grapes, and put in onion or celery, or peas, or cheese, or all of the above----- Save the grapes for your fruit salad.

Yes, you half them so they get some grip and dont slip out of the sandwich; and also so they don't spray when you bite into them

Kinda like how you generally will cut a cherry tomato in a salad before you put it in your mouth..so it doesn't spray

depends on the size of the grapes, here they have itty bitty grapes (like pea size) those no, the big ones yes

I do. Or if they are particularly large then quarter them.
