Yes, I used to all the time. I would eat it more when it was made fresh though like my aunt used to do. It is salty but the premade stuff tasted funky, probably chemicals or something added to it. That's why my aunt always made it instead of buying it, knowing full well the kids would eat some when she wasn't looking : )
