Does pudding have gelatin in it?!

Question:

Does pudding have gelatin in it?

Answers:
this is from Krafts website on their Jello Pudding box

Ingredients: CORNSTARCH, COCOA PROCESSED WITH ALKALI, MODIFIED CORNSTARCH, SALT, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CALCIUM CARRAGEENAN (THICKENER), FUMARIC ACID, ASPARTAME AND ACESULFAME POTASSIUM (SWEETENERS), POLYSORBATE 60 (PREVENTS SCORCHING), RED 40, YELLOW 5, BLUE 2.

it dosn't have to, if you buy the packaged jello brand stuff I would guess it probably does, read the ingredients. but if you make it yourself it certainly dosn't need to have gelatin and I've had vegan pudding before.

No it has ingredients like milk butter and stuff like that, Only Jello has gelatin in it

Gelatin comes from the lining of the stomach and is used to make Jelly and in a range of other products, including icecream.

Strict vegetarians and vegans should check for gelatin in a range of products.

Gelatin is not the only product that can be used to produce the same effect and many puddings and jellies don't contain Gelatin. You can also buy a non-gelatin alternative at vegetarian and health food stores.

i don't think so..
but in oversea, I'm not sure about it.
