Is vanilla yogurt deadly?!

Question:

Is vanilla yogurt deadly?

Why does vanilla yogurt make me puke >.
Answers:

no it isn't deadly, you may truly just not like the flavour or you may be lactose intolerant (do you feel that way when you have any dairy such as milk? ice cream? other yoghurt?).

if you are lactose intolerant, check out this site:
http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases...

if you're not lactose intolerant, however, you should ALWAYS make sure about the date on the carton. make sure you don't buy any dairy product where the date has already passed or will pass in a day or two. if you buy a dairy product where the date won't pass until at least a week or so, it's guaranteed to be fresh (~99%).

and if vanilla yoghurt STILL makes you feel nauseous, you are better off staying away from it! personally, i like it! but i can relate, since there are foods that make me feel nauseous too (mayonnaise, parmesan cheese in that green container, beets, macaroni salad, the fish sauce served with vietnamese food, and many other things)

Maybe you have an allergy or something towards it.

You may be allergic to the flavouring agent, or any of the other ingredients. If you're fine when eating other yogurts, I'd say it was an allergy. It may be just an allergy to the brand of vanilla yogurt you've been consuming. Try another brand of vanilla yogurt and see what happens.

You could be lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy, or just allergic to something in the yogurt. I would see your doctor, find out exactly what you are allergic to, it might save your life. Good luck!

you may have a food allergy to vanilla or the different bacteria found in the vanilla yogurt. you may want to try a different brand but same flavor and if the results art the same, you may want to see your doctor about being tested for different types of allergies you may not know you have.
